We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Ruby on Rails, React & AI Engineer who enjoys building end-to-end solutions, solving complex business problems, and leveraging AI to create meaningful business impact. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge traditional software engineering with modern AI technologies.

What You'll Do 
  •  Build and maintain full-stack web applications using Ruby on Rails and React. 
  •  Develop scalable REST APIs and backend services. 
  •  Create responsive, intuitive user interfaces using React. 
  •  Design and implement AI-powered business solutions using large language models and modern AI platforms. 
  •  Build intelligent automations that streamline business operations and reduce manual work. 
  •  Develop AI agents, document processing workflows, knowledge bases, and conversational interfaces. 
  •  Integrate with third-party platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Shopify, NetSuite, Google, OpenAI, and other APIs. 
  •  Design and optimize PostgreSQL database structures and queries. 
  •  Build background jobs, automations, and data processing pipelines. 
  •  Collaborate with project managers, designers, QA engineers, and stakeholders. 
  •  Participate in architecture discussions and technical planning. 
  •  Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance. 
  •  Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. 
  •  Evaluate and recommend technologies that deliver measurable business value. 

Required Qualifications 
  •  5+ years of professional software development experience. 
  •  Strong experience with Ruby on Rails. 
  •  Strong experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript. 
  •  Experience building and consuming REST APIs. 
  •  Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and database design. 
  •  Strong practical experience integrating AI and LLM technologies into production applications. 
  •  Experience working with OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or similar AI platforms. 
  •  Experience building AI-powered workflows, automations, agents, and business applications. 
  •  Familiarity with prompt engineering and AI application architecture. 
  •  Strong understanding of software design patterns and scalable architecture. 
  •  Experience writing automated tests. 
  •  Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows. 
  •  Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a remote environment. 
  •  Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mentality. 

Preferred Qualifications 
  •  Experience with React Native mobile applications. 
  •  Experience with AWS, Heroku, or cloud infrastructure. 
  •  Experience with Sidekiq, Redis, and background processing. 
  •  Experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch. 
  •  Experience with Docker and containerized environments. 
  •  Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. 
  •  Experience building SaaS products and multi-tenant applications. 
  •  Experience with vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). 
  •  Experience designing AI agents and multi-step AI workflows. 
  •  Experience working with enterprise software integrations.
